What is Astra University?
Astra University is our internal education and development ecosystem, designed to support team members at every partner company. From field technicians to sales leaders to general managers and senior leaders, Astra U is where learning meets opportunity.
At the heart of Astra University are five academies, each focused on critical areas of our business:

- Astra Safety Academy – ensuring our people have the training and resources needed to stay safe, compliant, and return home healthy every day

- Astra Building Controls Academy – advancing expertise in cutting-edge building automation and fostering a mindset of innovation and operational excellence

How Does It Work?
We’ve made significant investments to ensure learning is accessible to all. Our Learning Management System gives every team member across the Astra Network access to over 10,000 off-the-shelf online courses, with content ranging from technical skills to professional development. It also houses a growing library of exclusive Astra courses, playbooks, and communities.
Through interactive communities, sales leaders, HVAC technicians, service managers, and HR teams can share best practices and resources.
Along with our expansive library, we host in-person learning events and summits at our partner companies across the country.
Supporting Local Needs
Astra runs a decentralized operating model. We know that local leaders at each partner company understand their teams’ learning needs best. That’s why Astra University is built to support local autonomy.
Through our LMS, leaders can assign courses that fit their goals, track progress, and reinforce their own culture of learning. As Jessica McMenamin from The Tustin Group puts it, “These courses aren’t just rules. They are required by OSHA, insurance carriers, and sometimes by state or local law. They are also tied to licensing, contracts, and keeping our people safe so they can go home at the end of the day.”
